All specifications, products, descriptions and prices of products on the site are subject to change at any time without notice. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, content or material provided through the site. The inclusion of any products or services on the site at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
Terms of sale
By placing an order with us, you are (i) offering to purchase a product, (ii) representing that you are of legal age to form a binding contract, and (iii) representing that all information you provide to us in connection with such order is true and accurate and you are an authorized user of the payment method provided. The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order. We retain the right to refuse any order request made by you. Prior to our acceptance of an order, verification or information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, modify or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from us, for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right to limit the number of items ordered and to refuse service to you without prior notification. In the even an item lists an incorrect price, either due to typographical or other error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order placed for the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order is being or has been processed. If payment has already been made or if your account has already been charged for the purchase and the order is cancelled, we will credit your account in the amount of the incorrect price
Payment Terms
Macktiles Lanka accepts all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Changes to your existing card or new card details can be added without placing an order under my account

VAT Invoices
All customers are generally treated as non-VAT customers. If you require a VAT invoice, please request it at the time of showroom pickup or by contacting our support centre.

Tile Quality, Variations & Installation
Natural Variations: Shade variations, thickness and pattern differences, irregular/chipped edges, and cracked/crazed surfaces are inherent and are not considered defects.
Minor Breakage: Expect approximately 1-2% small damage/breakage, which can usually be used for cuts. Please order sufficient quantities to account for this; we do not compensate for these small amounts.
Dust/Residue: Clean tiles prior to installation. Stubborn residue can be removed with water and 400 grit sandpaper.
Blending Tiles: We highly recommend blending tiles from various boxes to ensure an appealing mix of shape, color, and shade.
Acclimatization: Once tiles arrive, release them into the installation environment to absorb humidity before laying.
Shade/Caliber Matching: Tiles are sorted by size (caliber) and shade (tono). If a specific caliber or tono is required, you must inform Macktiles Lanka before. We cannot guarantee matching calibers/tonos within the same tile range or entertain claims after dispatch if not specified beforehand.
Colour Matching: Computer monitors display colors differently. We recommend you to visit our showrooms before making a final selection.
Returns & Refunds
No Returns without Agreement: No goods will be accepted for return unless agreed by management.
Refunds on Unopened Boxes: Refunds are given on unopened boxes of tiles returned within 30 days of purchase date, provided your job is complete. Adhesive and grout are not eligible for refund.
Proof of Purchase: Refunds require a valid receipt/invoice.
Refund Method: No cash refunds. Refunds will be issued by cheque (within 10 working days). Further processing to your credit card or bank account may take additional time, depending on the bank or financial institution, for which Macktiles Lanka cannot be held liable.
Returns Not Accepted for the Following Reasons
- Damage caused by the customer.
- Change of mind or any other personal reasons.
- Defect reported after the 14-working-day period.
Post-Installation & Responsibilities
Before Cutting/Installation: Macktiles Lanka is not responsible for materials once cut or installed. Express any concerns before cutting or installing. We cannot offer returns on used or altered products.
Installed Materials: We hold no responsibility for installed materials, even if they were incorrect, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable prior to installation. Macktiles Lanka will not pay for or perform any installation under these circumstances.
Tilers: Macktiles Lanka does not tile and does not employ tilers. While we may recommend tilers, we are not responsible for their actions as they are self-employed.
Maintenance & Fitting: Claims for damage caused by not following our fitting, sealing, and maintenance recommendations will not be accepted.
Colour Matching: Due to production batch variations, we cannot guarantee an exact color match between a sample and a full order, especially if there’s a long time between ordering the sample and receiving the full order.
Quantity Check: Check quantities of goods at the time of purchase or delivery. No queries can be entertained later.
Sufficient Quantity: Purchase a sufficient quantity at one time. We cannot guarantee an item will remain in stock.
Area Calculator: Consult your tiler for exact measurements and quantities. Macktiles Lanka is not responsible for coverage discrepancies.
Delays Beyond Control: Order acceptance and delivery promises are conditional upon material availability. We are not responsible for delays due to manufacturing risks, strikes, accidents, or other causes beyond our control.
